Insurance and Billing
For your convenience, the Bonneville Surgery Center will submit claims to your insurance provider when provided with complete insurance details. Please note that your insurance policy is an agreement between you and your insurer, and we are not a party to that contract. You are responsible for any co-payments, deductibles, or non-covered services as outlined by your insurance plan.
We accept payments from all insurance providers. However, coverage varies, and your insurer may not cover all charges. For clarification on your coverage, please contact your employer or insurance provider. For questions about our fees, your insurance benefits, or your financial responsibilities, feel free to reach out to our business office.
Patient Financial Responsibility
You are responsible for all charges from the date of service. After your insurance processes your claim, you may owe any remaining balance not covered. We offer flexible payment options, including cash, personal checks, debit cards, and major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).
We encourage you to contact our business office before your procedure to discuss your insurance benefits and any potential financial obligations. This allows you to focus on your recovery with peace of mind.
Understanding Your Bills
After your procedure, you may receive bills from different providers involved in your care. Below is an overview of potential charges:
Surgery Center Fees: These cover the use of our facility, staff, and equipment to ensure a safe and successful procedure. Direct any questions about these fees to our business office.
Physician Fees: Your surgeon, who is not an employee of the Surgery Center, will bill separately for their services. Contact their office for questions about these charges.
Anesthesia Fees: If an anesthesiologist provides services during your procedure, you will receive a separate bill. These providers are independent, and questions or payments should be directed to their billing office.
Additional Charges: Depending on your procedure, you may receive bills for laboratory services or other external services not provided by the Bonneville Surgery Center. Please contact the respective provider for details.
